We hope all NATIXIANs enjoyed the summer months. We’ve breezed through August, and from here on out, things will only get hotter, regardless of the weather. However, no month would be complete without our progress update, so before we jump into September, let’s take a look at what we’ve achieved in August.
The NATIX network keeps growing, the kilometers keep accumulating, and the NATIX DePIN ecosystem keeps expanding. This August we’ve started some new processes that will help us continue growing and giving our users the best. Let’s dig in.
As usual, let’s examine our community numbers and evaluate the constant growth. In terms of users, we’ve crossed the 150K mark and have over 156K registered drivers on the Drive& app, which is no less than impressive considering that the summer months are usually slower than the rest of the year.
We’re also at nearly 75M kilometers driven, leaving only 25% to go until the much-anticipated network laps milestone is reached and the airdrop occurs. Events detected by the Drive& app’s AI have now reached over 387M, and we can expect to cross the 400M mark in the coming month.
We’ve had the privilege to introduce Dr. Ulrich Lages, MBA, as the newest addition to the luxurious list of NATIX advisors. Ulrich is best known as the founder and CEO of IBEO Automotive Systems GmbH, a company that has become a cornerstone in the automotive industry, particularly in the development of LiDAR technology (Light Detection and Ranging — a remote sensing method originally used to examine the surface of the Earth) for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Autonomous Driving.
Ulrich’s leadership has been instrumental in driving forward new transport solutions, making him a pioneering expert in the field of new mobility. With over 25 years of management experience and entrepreneurial success, Ulrich’s vast expertise is invaluable for NATIX.
This month we’ve opened up the registration process for the all-new NATIX Racers Ambassador Program. This presents an inclusive and dynamic opportunity for all NATIXIANs to dive deeper into the NATIX ecosystem, engage with our products, and help build the world’s largest AI camera decentralized physical infrastructure network.
Kicking off in September, the NATIX Ambassador Program offers exciting rewards for those who drive our mission toward a decentralized mapping economy. If you still haven’t applied, make sure to fill out the NATIX Racer application form. As there are limited spots available in our racing leagues, we will review, and possibly accept, new applicants every month.
This one was more of an important-to-note announcement. Now that the $NATIX DePIN crypto token is up and running on the Solana blockchain, Solana imposes a small token account fee, approximately 0.003 SOL per account, to cover the cost of storing data on the blockchain.If you have never withdrawn or received $NATIX on your Solana address, you must pay this one-time blockchain fee before proceeding with your first withdrawal. NATIX has paid this fee during its DePIN Crypto Listing days, so if you have withdrawn before, you won't have to pay this token account fee, as long as you use the same wallet address you used before.
We’ve had a brand new addition to the NATIX DePIN ecosystem this month, expanding the Drive& DePIN Marketplace offering and further establishing it as a DePIN aggregator for users to monetize their daily lives.
We’ve partnered with Soarchain and added to the Drive& Marketplace the Soarchain Mini, a powerful device that connects to your vehicle and allows you to gather, utilize, and profit from the vehicle's data. This data can help create safer, smarter, and more autonomous cities.
September holds much in store. As the summer months are now behind us, the web3 and crypto community are waking up for the summer slumber, shifting into turbo drive for the last third of the year.
